OK, so trivia I’ve just found out.  In this scene, the two rabbis sitting just to the left of Meryl Streep - Tony Kushner and Maurice Sendak.

MIND BLOWN. 

Apparently Maurice Sendak agreed to do a cameo on the stipulation that they would let him meet Meryl Streep.  A hour and a half into filming, he complained and asked when he’d get to meet her, not knowing the other Rabbi actor who had been heckling him for the entire time was Meryl.
